The meeting content type is designed to cover all aspects of a meeting including its agenda and minutes. Use this for the JGCC, its subgroups and other local organisations.
Creating a meeting entry
- Enter the title (single line input field). Note, as the meeting will appear only as a title in some lists, it’s worth distinguishing between different monthly meetings. I.e. Don’t entitle a meeting “Juniper Green CC monthly meeting”, but something like “Juniper Green CC Monthly meeting Nov 2010”
- Choose the organiser (radio box). See section 6 for instructions on how to add new organisations
- Set the meeting data and time (pop up calendar). The “To” date is provided to allow you to set a finishing time. You can leave it blank if you wish
- Set the location: Follow instructions at section 3.9.
- Enter the meeting description (WYSIWYG editor) Add a brief description of the meeting (to be displayed in lists). It is assumed that the agenda will be added as an attached file.
- Add an agenda (Image and document field - see section 3.8). Upload a document containing the agenda
- Add the minutes (Image and document field - see section 3.8.) Upload a document containing the minutes.
The readers’ view of meeting
Your readers will interact with the meetings content in several places

- Page links from “Meetings” and “Upcoming meetings” in the Directory menu: These link to a page with details of all upcoming meetings. Each item includes: Title, date, location and a link to the agenda.
- Page link from “Minutes” in the Directory menu: This page provides access to the minutes of meetings of the community council and its subgroups. Each entry includes the title, date and a link to the minutes. If no minutes are available for a particular meeting then there is no entry in the list
